Sequim boys run past Klahowya 64-33

(Silverdale) -- The Sequim High Wolves roared out to a 25-7 first quarter lead and never looked back, beating the Klahowya Eagles 64-33 Friday night.
Sequim senior sharpshooter Alex Barry was game-high scorer with 17, all before halftime, when the Wolves led 40-15.
The visitors led 55-19 after 3 quarters and all 12 Sequim players who suited up got into the contest in the final frame.
Freshman Payton Glasser, son of Sequim head coach Greg Glasser, scored 14 points in his high school basketball debut.
Ryan Gotchall and Ricky Holguin shared team-high honors for Klahowya with 9 points apiece.
Jackson Oliver and Bailey Earley paced the Wolves with 7 points each, while Vance Willis and Tim Tyler chipped in 6 tallies apiece.
In other Olympic League boys games Friday night, Olympic ripped Port Townsend 67-32 and North Mason beat Chimacum 77-64.
In non-league contests, Central Kitsap downed Kingston 79-57 and North Kitsap pounded Capital 80-64.
Sequim travels to Kent for a non-leaguer Saturday with the 4A Kentridge Chargers. The Eagles hosts North Kitsap Tuesday.
