Lady Wolves smash Redhawks 61-24

(Port Townsend) -- A 20-3 first-half ending run pushed the Sequim Lady Wolves to a 61-24 victory over the Port Townsend Redhawks Tuesday night at Bruce Blevins Gym.
Junior Jordan Miller connected on 3 first quarter triples as Sequim led 18-13 after the first buzzer.
Miller was the game-high scorer with 14.
5-10 sophomore Adrienne Haggerty scored 8 of her 13 points in the second period, triggering the Wolves to a 38-16 advantage at intermission.
Hailey Lester had 7 first half points for the Wolves.
In the second half, Alyse Armstrong had 7 markers for Sequim and Ella Christiansen added 6 tallies.
Kaitlyn Meek and Shenoa Snyder shared team-high honors for Port Townsend with 6 points apiece.
Sequim (4-2) hosts Kingston Wednesday, when Port Townsend (0-5) visits Chimacum.
